Michael Kaye in BC Championships, Mens Physique, Pro Am, Update

First off, I have some more videos form the Vancouver Pro Am - BC Championships to share with you guys from the actual day of competition. I will have some iPhone Vlogging style video with some back stage stuff and my wife Nicole took some higher quality video of the show from an audience perspective so there will also be that to share with everyone. For now I have some lower quality photos I grabbed off of the the Muscle Insider website that will give you an idea of how I looked up on stage but I will be posting much higher quality photos taken by David Ford Photography that I paid for at the show, I just need to wait a couple of days before I get those ones.

So how did I do? Well Great! I got first in my age category (Men's Physique Masters 40+) and I also placed 2nd in Men's Physique Open which is an "open class" for all ages which means I am competing with guys that could literally be my own kids ;) The Men's Physique Open Class is extremely competitive since there are a lot more younger guys competing then guys in there 40's. That said, all the competition in both Masters and Open was very well represented and everyone out there deserved to be on that stage along side one another...

What does this all mean for me moving forward? I am now qualified to compete at the Canadian National level and represent the Province of BC in both Men's Physique Masters and Open. The next Canadian National competition will be held on August 13 2016 in New Westminster BC only 5 weeks from now so I have my work cut out for me as I need to bring my game up a notch as this is next level stuff we're talking about here! So wish me luck, this adventure just got a little more interesting!
