What I Love About My Total Gym

I apologies if this sounds a bit like a Total Gym infomercial, I promise they are not paying me anything to say this. I just really love my Total Gym and sometimes I think my Total Gym helps keep me on track, even when I really don't feel like working out, or get I get bored in the gym.

So here goes my top 7 reasons why I love my Total Gym...

1. My Total Gym is ready when I am.

What I mean by this is, it's right here in my home all setup and ready to go, no need to get in my car and drive 15 to 20 minutes to a busy gym and then the same distance back again. In the time it takes most people to get to their gym, I have already finished my entire workout! Travel time to get to your gym is just bad usage of time and another excuse you will give yourself to not even want to workout.

2. The Total Gym exercises every part of my body - both inside and out.

The Total Gym is a complete workout system able to not only work your muscles but if you step up the pace just a bit you can get a really good cardio workout too. And if you think you will only be able to tone your muscles, you are dead wrong, the Total Gym is great at building muscle, even if you max out to the highest and hardest level you can still add weight using the weight bar accessory. You can workout every part of your body all at the same time; legs, shoulders, back, chest, arms abs, heart and lungs!

3. The Total Gym is not really so much of a "Work-Out" but more of a "Shape-In"

The word "Workout" is pretty literal for most people, you have to go "out" and then do a bunch of hard "work". Now I'm not saying that getting in shape is super easy but why does it have to be so difficult? The truth is, lifting weights is very hard work and if you don't push yourself you are only wasting your time. When I use my Total Gym, even when I am really giving a lot of effort, it just seems so much easier and I find I get a great workout in less time and with less strain on my body. So with the Total Gym you get to stay "in" while getting in "shape".

4. The Total Gym is for everyone, if you're just starting out or even a Professional Athlete.

When I first saw the Total Gym infomercial, I though to my self, what a nice workout toy for a person who needs something like that to motivate them...  then I tried it one day over at a friends and boy was I surprised! It was really challenging at first and I consider myself to be pretty strong, the Total Gym worked muscles I had never felt before and after that point I was hooked. Even today I have not outgrown my Total Gym. If you're just starting a workout program or perhaps you are a senior looking for something that you can use at your own pace and level, or even if you are a professional athlete, you will find the Total Gym to be a very integral part of your workout program in no time.

5. The Total Gym can be used just about anywhere.

A lot of "good" gym equipment can take up a large amount of space and even require a dedicated room for it, this is not the case with a Total Gym! All you need is about 4 feet by 8 feet and you're good to go, and when you're done you can even fold it up and put it in a closet or under a bed. The Total Gym also very quiet, so you can use it late at night or even in a shared accommodation environment without having to worry about clanking weights.

6. The Total Gym is easy on the body.

Now that I am in my 40's, body parts just get soar and when they get soar they take a longer time to get un-soar then when I was in my 20's and 30's ;) heck, sometime I go to bed feeling great and then wake up in the morning with some sort of phantom injury overnight? I find even when I have an injury, the Total Gym is very forgiving to use and allows me to adjust my position ever so slightly to reduce the strain on my injured area, and by exercising through an injury I am able to stay fit and even strengthen the injured area back to health.

7. The Total Gym is affordable and Risk Free to try.

Again without sounding like a Total Gym Infomercial, if by now your saying to yourself, why don't I have a Total Gym already? It's because you need to do something about it, so you can watch your next Total Gym infomercial on TV and order one up or you can click on this link right here and buy a similar very affordable model...

Daily Workout - Chest & Back in with Total Gym

Got some more workouts in, and it's been a busy week. I have been installing a new fridge and a new Washer and dryer. They weren't really in the plan but a deal came my way and I jumped on it. The only problem was that my fridge ended up being a bit too tall and so the upper cabinet had to come out and get converted into a shelf unit. That and the new water line for my ice machine and built water dispenser and what should have been a few hours turned into an all day job.

The next days was spent installing my washer and dryer. And of course my actual work had to get fit i somewhere in amongst all that. The joys of working at home!

I did manage to get a chest and back workout in with my Total Gym so it could have been worse I guess. Hopefully I am back to my regular routine again...
