Insta360 Go2 - GEPRC Tiny 4K Drone For Even More Interesting Content

Some of you may have noticed a lot more content in the form of shorts going on with my channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter). I have made a commitment to myself to try and upload at least one short video to the group of channels per day that cover stuff like Diet Tips, Exercise Tips, Workout Tips, TRT, Adventure, Fitness Tech and just cool stuff I experience.

I have been suing a bunch of cool video tech to capture these video and try an make it all entertaining for everyone such as my Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, My DJI Avata FPV Drone, my HoverAir X1 Selfie Camera Drone and of course just using my phone.

I wanted to share some new additions to video camera options to help me create content and help keep me inspired while doing so I added the Insta360 Go2 Tiny Action Camera and the GEPRC Tiny 4K FPV Drone to my collection. The Insta360 Go2 Tiny Action Camera is just super versatile and you can literally put it anywhere and create both shorts and standard videos all in one take so that was a no brainer and I got it for only a couple hundred dollars used on Marketplace. I also decided to buy a mini FPV drone so I could get into even smaller places and get even more creative with my shots. I also anted to learn how to fly a drone in ACRO mode which is really hard and I felt it would be better to learn on a small cheaper drone than my $2000 DJI Avata.

I love this this stuff and so for me this is super fun and I enjoy figuring it all out with the added advantage of being able to share cool videos with my audience.

DJI Avata Flying Around Property Taking a Few Branches to the Face

It's been awhile since I flew my DJI Avata FPV Drone around the house. DJI sometimes makes it difficult to fly in certain areas and my place is close enough to an Airport that my DJI Avata complains and restricts my ability to fly. I am not sure what changed but all of a sudden I am now again able to fly in my area as long as I accept responsibility for flying in a semi restricted area. I really do not go very high or even close to where an airplane may fly over, but I understand making sure I am aware of any hazards to my DJI Avata Drone or an airplane.

After a few laps around the yard it all started to come back to me, and now that I can fly again, I will for sure be stretching my FPV wings or or should I say blades. I hope to really start to get good at flying this super fun mini Jet Fighter and share even riskier flying with everyone! Enjoy some close calls while I blast through some small branches and almost get hit by a truck (My Bad). I can say without a doubt that the DJI Avata FPV Drone is really built strong as I have nailed some branches hard and taken a few tumbles, and after that, this little guy doesn't even have a scratch on it, just had to clean off some dirt.

DJI Avata FPV Drone - Like Flying a Mini Jet Fighter

First off did I need the DJI Avata FPV Drone? No I did not. Did the sale price influence my purchase? Maybe a little bit. Either way I now have one more resource I can draw on to make interesting content and in terms of adventure video the DJI Avata will for sure capture it in a very dynamic way.

The DJI Avata FPV Drone is also incredibly fun to fly as you use goggles to fly it so it feels like you are literally on board the Avata while it swoops and turns and goes just about anywhere at rocket like speeds.

One huge bonus is I can get a similar adrenaline rush as I do while I ride my PEV's, but with zero bodily risk to myself if I where to crash. If I crashed on one of my PEV's, more than likely both myself and the PEV would be damaged in some way for sure. The DJI Avata FPV Drone is built like a tank and can take some pretty decent tumbles and impacts without getting damaged.

In terms of getting adventure content, the DJI Avata FPV Drone can capture traditional cinematic drone video but has the advantage of flying super low to the ground, between extremely narrow gaps and with that First Person View giving the audience the feeling like they are in the action. Something a normal drone can not do! The DJI Avata also records in 4k at 60 frames per second so the quality is up there for sure.

In this video I do an unboxing and take a look at what you get in the packaging. I also take it outside and capture some of my initial flights and crashes.
