Last Whistler Summer Getaway This Year

Enjoy some clips where we recently spent a few days in Whistler, BC, Canada with some good friends, staying at the WorldMark Cascade Lodge. The trip was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

We made the most of the pool, then hit the local trails on our mix of electric rides, from e-mountain bikes to an electric skateboard and scooter. Whistler’s trails are always a blast, and riding them on EVs made the experience even more fun.

We also explored several beautiful parks and lakes, with Lost Lake being a highlight of the trip.

All of the footage was captured using my Meta Glasses and HoverAir X1 ProMax, which made it easy to film hands-free and from unique perspectives.

Whistler Vacation September 2025 Highlights

Last week my wife Nicole and I had a mini Vacation up in Whistler BC for three nights, we stayed at the WorldMark Cascade Lodge which is one of our time share locations we really enjoy heading out to. Whistler is so much fun with so many trails for just about anyone. There are lots of paved easy to ride trails, destination single track type trails that can take you just about anywhere in the area, and of course some crazy downhill runs for the Kamikazes out there.

Of course there is also Whistler Village with a variety of shops and eats from simple cafes to fine dining. We met a nice couple on our trip and where lucky enough to get a guided tour from Aaron who led us to Brandywine falls which ended up being a 35 mile round trip. I did record a bunch of video that included using my Meta Glasses, Insta360 X4 and HoverAir X1 ProMax. Enjoy the beautiful scenery mostly as we traveled the many trails to our destinations.

Hot Rod Block Party Drone Shots

I have been going to a friend of mines Hot Rod Block Party for several years now, and thought maybe some of you would like to see it also? At least from the lens of the camera's from two of my Drones, the HoverAir X1 ProMax and the BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro with DJI O4 Pro Air Unit. Both drone cameras take amazing video at 4k 60fps. The HoverAir X1 ProMax is an AI drone primarily, and is great at taking hands free Drone Video, while the Pavo20 Pro FPV Drone requires a lot more experience along with a steady hand, but lets you get any shot you can imagine and dare to take...

HoverAir X1 ProMax Copilot White Rock Beach

I have made some videos already for my HoverAir X1 ProMax, I also had the previous HoverAir X1 version. HoverAir continues to improve their products not only by making even better ones, but by also updating the software and firmware for them enhancing features not just on their new versions but even older versions. So good on them!

One very cool feature is the addition of something they call Copilot where by either using the Phone App or the Beacon, you can take partial control of your HoverAir and adjust things like height, distance, rotation in real time while it counties to track you using AI. This is a super cool feature which makes the HoverAir X1 ProMax the clear winner when it comes to AI Selfie drones. Not even DJI can touch what HoverAir is doing right now with their AI Drones.

In this video I take my HoverAir X1 ProMax out to White Rock Beach with me and use a variety of AI flight modes including the new Copilot feature and I will let the video footage speak for itself...

Whistler Creekside Vacation April 2025 - GetFitOver40

Last week we had a really nice mini vacation (4 nights 5 days) in Whistler BC Canada, we actually stayed in our WorldMark Timeshare Resort just outside of Whistler Village located in Creekside. It's a really nice loft condo on the side of the mountain overlooking Alpha Lake and it sleeps up to 8 people so we did have a few guests come and stay with us for some of the time.

One of our favorite things to do in Whistler area is ride around on electric vehicles, my wife usually rides the eBike and I usually ride my EUC but this time I also brought my Electric Mountainboard and had a lot of fun on that one too!

So you are going to see a lot of trail riding recorded by a bunch of different cameras, most from my HoverAir X1 ProMax AI flying selfie drone, some from my Meta Glasses and I also flew some of my FPV drones. My Avata 2, my BetaFPV Meteor65 Pro 04, and my BetaFPV Pavo Pico with DJI 04 Air Unit.

If you want to see what the trails in Whistler look like there is a lot of that going on in this video, mainly we stuck to the paved forest trails but we did ride a loop to Lost Lake and then to Green Lake which is more dirt and gravel.

Hope you enjoy the beauty of Whistler and Creekside.
