HumerusFitness 200 Push Up Challenge

Spoiler alert!! I had a bit of problem counting by 10's during this Push Up Fitness Challenge and kind of short changed myself. Perhaps my 1000 calorie per day weight cut is effecting brain function a bit ;)

Anyways, it is what it is and the point of this video is to take part in this fitness challenge and see how well you can do. Even with a few less reps than I should have done, I think I performed pretty well. I may even try a do-over next week if I feel the urge to do another 200 or so pushups...

One interesting note is the fact that I actually burned 1 calorie per pushup performed during this push-up challenge, so 190 calories in all. I generally let my Garmin HRM run until my heart rate comes down to around 120 beats per minute to offset the fact that I start out most exercises with my heart rate lower.

PMG Push Up Challenge - Bodyweight Fitness Challenge

I'm always up for a fitness challenge, or should I say one that will not leave me injured afterwards ;) This Max Push-up challenge from PMG (Pure Muscle Gains) is pretty basic and really anyone can do! Now I am not hosting this challenge nor is there really anything to be won other than the satisfaction of seeing how many push-ups one can do and perhaps outperforming a few people along the way...

So make sure to checkout TJ's PMG's channel and his PMG Push Up Challenge - Bodyweight Fitness Challenge video.

So how did I do? Well you are going to need to watch my video entry to find out, but I can say I did a bit better than when I did a similar max Push-ups challenge of 70 reps during the LTRob & QUEST4FIT Push-up, Pull-up and 400 Meeter Run Challenge.

Pushup Variations for an Awesome Chest Exercise

In my Upper Body Using Body Weight Post and YouTube Video I covered some Pushup variation but I though it would be a good idea to cover pushups all on their own since they are one of the best and easiest ways anyone can get a great chest exercise anytime without the need for any type of gym equipment other than a bit of floor space. If you're an extreme hoarder you may have to go outside ;)

In this video I show you different arm placements to get an all over chest workout with simple pushup techniques.

Upper Body Workout Using Body Weight

This video looks at using mainly body weight exercises with a some inexpensive gym equipment that will tone and build muscle in the upper body areas.

Some of the exercises demonstrated are: Pushups, Chin-ups, Pull-ups, Shoulder Press, Shoulder Raises, Bicep Curls, and Triceps Extensions.

Not all of these exercises can be done by only using your body weight, but by adding some inexpensive Dumbbells and a Chin-up bar, all of these exercises can be achieved.
