Upper Body Workout Using Chairs

I know not everyone has workout gear at home and the truth is there are lots of items around your house that you can use to get a good workout, today I show you some exercises you can do using standard kitchen chairs.

I show you how you can do dips to get a great triceps and chest workout, I also show you how you can use chairs to get a deeper pushup and also an inclined pushup which will really work the chest area. I also demonstrate how you can use the weight of teh chairs for some shoulder exercises similar to using dumbbells.

I am at week seven now in my lose a few pounds program and I think I am starting to see some improvements again, I am down to right around 177 pounds but have definitely shed some pounds in the mid section, I can see more tone coming through now. The Jawbone UP and Fitbit scale have really helped me to stay on track with my exercises and food tracking.

Daily Workout - Upper Body in Custom Health Fitness Gym

I have been out of town on business for the last few days in Santa Rosa California. I have been staying at a Holliday Inn but they are under construction and don't have a gym right now so they gave me a pass to an Interesting Gym. The Gym was and they are a 24 hour card access gym that has access even when there is no staff! Since today was Sunday there was nobody working today, kind of weird! Anyways I did get a full upper body workout with some cardio and abs worked in too.

Upper Body Workout Using Body Weight

This video looks at using mainly body weight exercises with a some inexpensive gym equipment that will tone and build muscle in the upper body areas.

Some of the exercises demonstrated are: Pushups, Chin-ups, Pull-ups, Shoulder Press, Shoulder Raises, Bicep Curls, and Triceps Extensions.

Not all of these exercises can be done by only using your body weight, but by adding some inexpensive Dumbbells and a Chin-up bar, all of these exercises can be achieved.
