Daily Workout - Quick One at Home

I am off to San Francisco for some work I'm doing with my Mac Video Training business. I had some time this morning to do a quick workout, it's hard to get workouts in when on the road doing business even if you plan for it, it sometimes just doesn't happen! Had enough time to do a 10 minute warmup and some arms - biceps and triceps.

Daily Workout - Trail Hike to Lake Lookout

Not my usual style in home gym workout but it was still a good one. Walking uphill for half an hour while carrying your 40 pound kid most of the way was good enough for me today. I'm up camping, so there's not too many choices when it comes to what I can do for a workout. Anyways, the view was well worth it!

Daily Workout - Shoulders in Home Gym

Got in another one today -  Shoulders, a bit of Abs, and some Cardio! What more do you need?

  • 10 Minutes Elliptical.
  • Total Gym - Seated Shoulder Press.
  • Total Gym - Reverse Shoulder Raises (Lying on Back Upside-down).
  • Total Gym - Seated Shoulder Raises (Front to Back).
  • Total Gym - Front Seated Shoulder Raises.
  • Total Gym - Abs: Seated Side Twists in Side Position.
  • Barbells - Shrugs.
  • Misc. Stretching.

  • Total workout time: About 1 hour.

    Daily Workout - Back with Total Gym

    Got another workout in today! Still on the Total Gym workout week - just Shoulders and Arms left to do, I might try and do a double day tomorrow to get caught up a bit...

    • 10 Elliptical.
    • Total Gym - Seated Wide Row.
    • Total Gym - Seated Narrow Row.
    • Total Gym - Pull Downs (Lying on Back).
    • Total Gym - Abs: Seated Side Twists in Front Position).
    • Misc. Stretching.

    Total workout time: About 1 hour.

    Daily Workout - Chest in Home Gym with Total Gym

    Summer time is an interesting time. There are so many distractions... The last few days we had a party for my wife's work and so there where things to do to get ready and then there was the day of, and then there was the day after which was a bit of a recovery day... I'm not trying to make excuses but at least for me I find that I take a bit more time off from my workouts but in a way I do OK because surprisingly when I get back to my workouts, I feel strong and the few days off don't seem to effect me too much.

    • Warmup: Eliptical for 10 minutes.
    • Bench Press with Total Gym.
    • Flies with Total Gym.
    • Arm Raise Flies with Total Gym.
    • 3 Stage Pushups: Planche, Extended, and Regular.
    • Misc. Stretching.

    Total workout time: About 1hour.
