Daily Workout - Upper Body with Total Gym

I'm back home again and I wanted to do another full Upper Body workout today, this time with my Total Gym. I find I if I do everything pretty quickly on the Total Gym I end up getting a really good cardio workout at the same time so I left out the Elliptical this time.

  • Misc. Chest exercises with Total Gyms.
  • Misc. Back exercises with Total Gyms.
  • Misc. Shoulder exercises with Total Gyms.
  • Misc. Arm exercises with Total Gyms.
  • Misc. Ab floor exercises.

Total Workout time: 1.25 hours

Daily Workout - Arms with Total Gym

I'm back at home and back in my own gym with all my usually gear. Todays workout is the last of my upper body using the Total Gym. My hand is almost back to 100% so it really make the workouts a lot smoother. I just wish I could get rid of my ongoing shoulder pain in my right shoulder. I've had that for almost a year now so I don't think it's going away any time soon. I'm pretty sure it's some torn cartilage as I did it doing some MMA wrestling. Well enough whining for now...
  • 10 Minutes Elliptical.
  • Biceps: Lying Down Curls with Total Gym. (3 Sets with an increase in the incline each time)
  • Biceps: Seated Curls with Total Gym. (2 Sets with a increase in the incline each time)
  • Triceps: Seated Overhead Extension with the Total Gym.
  • Triceps: Lying Down Extension with the Total Gym.
  • Triceps: Rear Extension with the Total Gym.
  • Abs: Forward and Side Twists with Total Gym.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - Back with Total Gym

Got a back workout in today with the Total Gym. I'm still struggling with the pain in my right wrist but I think it's getting better. I hope it's not wishful thinking!

  • 10 Minutes Elliptical.
  • Total Gym - Seated Wide Row (Various Positions).
  • Total Gym - Seated Narrow Row (Various Positions).
  • Total Gym - Pull Downs (Lying on Back).
  • Abs: Crunches and Leg Raises.
  • Misc. Stretching.

Total workout time: About 1 hour.

Daily Workout - Chest in Home Gym with Total Gym

Today I woke up with a strange cramp in my hand, it pretty much bothered me all day and still is! It almost feels like tendonitis in my palm but I haven't done any kind of workout or anything that could stress or injure my hand?? I decided to do a workout anyways and it was not a fun one but it got done and my hand feels neither better nor worse...

  • Warmup: Eliptical for 10 minutes.
  • Bench Press with Total Gym.
  • Flies with Total Gym.
  • Arm Raise Flies with Total Gym.
  • 3 Stage Pushups: Planche, Extended, and Regular.
  • Abs: Crunches and Leg Raises.
  • Misc. Stretching.

Total workout time: About 1hour.

Daily Workout - Upper Body with Total Gym

I am definitely pushing through a plateau! It has been really hard lately doing my workouts and being motivated, I have felt tired and week but I have done my best to get into the gym as much as I can. I have been extra busy with work and even though my work is not physical it is fairly mental. A big part of working out is the mental part, so it makes sense that I have been struggling.

I'm still managing to do some maintenance workouts while I get through this phase. Yesterday I got a Chest and Back workout in on my Total Gym and today I got a Shoulders and Arms workout in again with the Total Gym. Both days I did some Abs but I didn't do any dedicated Cardio. Instead I made sure to get my heart rate up using the Total Gym which is easy to do. Both workouts took about 1 hour each.
